Hello!
I have been lurking for some time and finally signed up. Thanks for letting me in.
I'm 51, male, Norwegian. Got my first Guild in the late seventies, an S300-D.
Some years later I sold it along with another gem, an Aria SB bass, needed money to pay the rent. Ouch.
Eventually times got better, and a series of coincidences revived my interest in guitars.
A few years ago I had a massive GAS attack from which I have still not quite recovered.
Some of the results of that can be seen in my sig below.
Actually, there's more, but I guess not everybody here are as interested in guitars made in Japan or Sweden.
In my defense, many of the guitars I have bought were wrecks and didn't cost much.
My fingers are slow, my hands shaky, and my ears aren't too good either, so a great guitar player I will never be.
Still, I get a lot of enjoyment from collecting, fixing and even occasionally playing guitars.
I have also had the pleasure of passing good instruments on to young talent. That feels almost as good as buying another old Guild.
And, to keep this posting on topic in Solid/Chambered, here is my Blues 90 (if I am able to do this right):
I don't know the exact year, guessing 2000. Serial number CL002695. Does anybody know for sure?

Oh, and my wife wants to know if any of you can suggest a cure for GAS?
Not that I have any problem with that myself, I can quit anytime if I want to.
