Hardly new, I've had it for several months, recently restored my computer's picture processing capability & took the time to shoot a batch of crummy pics.

Not 100% sure just what it is? Hans seems to think it's a Sprint S280/281 with maybe a replacement pickguard.

Git arrived with no case, no trem arm & much more skuzzy than now. Still pretty skuzzy, but about 80% improved. Kahler bridges & nuts don't hold up well to neglect & moisture. Just today, I noticed one of the tuners has been replaced with an odd Gotoh. If anyone has a correct Grover to spare I'd be appreciative.

I've partially disassembled the nut & bridge & given the rusty innards some attention, knocked much of the rust off, lubed up the moving parts & threads, Honestly I didn't realize how much rust remains till I started processing close up pics

Made a trip to the local screw/fastner specialty house, bought a 3 ft section of steel rod & a 3/16 die. Stubby little whammy bar is my 3rd attempt, bending the steel rod properly requires use of a torch, heat turns the rod blue.

Pots were sick, so I bought a can of Deoxit D5 contact cleaner, liberally doused pots several times & cured most all problems, one tone pot is still a little iffy, not bad, likely another deoxit treatment wll fix it. Installed a set of Ernie Ball super slinky's & messed around with intonation, not at all sure what I'm doing there but it seems it's not so bad, My intention has been to take it in to 'Brady for the full meal deal but too busy playing it as is.

Git cost me $375, including shipping, + 69.00 for a clone tweed case. Took some time to acclimate to tuner function on the bridge but I've grown to like the way it operates. Guitar plays great, Nice value I think, curing my Strat itch quite nicely, can't tell much difference between the 1st three settings on the slector switch, most of the time I play it either at at position 4 or 5. Lots of fun tonight jamming with Pascal & Dave's Knocking on Heaven's Door.

Whatever knowledge anyone can share about this guitar will be appreciated.
