Hey Guys!

I'm a big fan of Guild solid-body electric guitars and just a big gear nerd in general, and at the moment all I own is Guild electrics, so I figured this is the place to be! Here's some pics of a few of my Guilds, past and present. The S60 and the S-300D are no longer with me due to the fact that I just had too many guitars and not enough cash, but I've still got the rest for now! Another side note, the band I play with uses only Guild "Bell Bottom" guitars. In the pic we each have a pair of S-60's, and if you look close there's an S-70 and S-300D hiding on the stands. Just thought you guys might appreciate it

Welcome shaman, glad to see you here, and that is an impressive collection of solidbodies you have/had there. You're definitely in the right place. You're killing me with all the sunbursts ... as you can see, I have a little sunburstitis. So what venue are you playing at in the photo?

You came to the right place, Shaman. For help with your Guild "problem." Love that S-50!

Welcome! Careful, we like to spend other people's money as much as we like to spend our own! :)

You mean we like to spend other people's money more than we like to spend our own ... because we spent ours already.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys! And for the record, we already tried to convert our bassist
So what didn't he like? I have to confess that I bought my first Guild after playing a Fender Jazz in Lake Placid Blue so I'd have several reasons to convert.

We never actually tracked down a Guild bass, just brought up the idea, but he doesn't have the cash/motivation to change gear at this point... it's odd, but some people actually keep the same gear for years and don't get GAS!

That could be me. I am the original owner of my JS. Bought the Starfire in the 1970's.

There is a B-301 on eBay right now that needs work and a B-302 that is probably a bit pricey for someone lacking cash or motivation. Why don't you adopt matching uniforms and tell him that if he gets a Guild bass, you'll drop the uniform idea and save him a couple hundred dollars in clothes he won't wear otherwise?
