LJ, I've lost track.... Was it you who had another guitar to fill the gap until this one was ready/delivered? Do you like the new D-55???

@chazmo, I had a Troubadour for just a couple of days. Returned it. Got a new Larrivee last week and now the '55. Love them both!

I had to run downstairs to make sure nobody stole my guitar. :D

It's a work of art, isn't it? I have one just like that. Beautiful. Enjoy it. :)

Initial and early-on impressions: The guitar was quiet for about the first hour of playing. Has opened up nicely since and now delivers a magnificent tone strummed with a pick, good golly! The action is pretty good though a setup will dial it in just right when it's time to change strings. For a RW dreadnaught, the guitar is pleasingly light in weight. Already rising to the top within my herd, the D-55 is on par or nearly so with my Yamaha LL-56. High praise indeed.

Beautiful guitar--but more importantly with that avatar--do you own a mule?
