Here's my Garnet, seller pics. Said this was his last amp to ship ever - it got here slightly damaged - and his feedback is an endless string of Traynors and Garnets. Orignally I was going to buy the Combo version of the Bass Mate he had, probably still has, the EL84 version I wanted originally, contrary to the hype of the 6V6 heads.

But browsing through his stuff, I found the Garnet and forgot all about the Bass Mate.

Which I still want, because I could interchange chassis between the head and combo, fantastic.

It blows my mind how Garnet used mostly stripboard and such little space. I think Gar had a smorgasbord of vintage caps and parts as such as I recall a friend from Austin had a Gar build Garnet Guillotine made in the mid 2000’s or so and it had a few caps like those.

Needs no mods. EQ is pretty flexible for being just a treble and bass. Tons of lows on tap as well and the tremolo makes me wanna play Alan Wilson’s Canned Heat parts.

Channel 1 is a tad too bright for my tastes, channel 2 has some beef. With my Squier CV Tele with the Kay pickup it just sounds massive clean.
