Am I remembering correctly that there's a member or two here from Nelson? My brother-in-law lives there and is just starting out on the guitar and looking for a nice acoustic to grow with. Any leads?

I believe you're thinking of "Ian"
I know Coastie99 is also a Kiwi but I don't think he's in Nelson.

No, we're down the road a little from Nelson.

Ian appears to be checking in here frequently. I'm sure that he'll show up soon.

Thanks guys. I'll PM Ian soon. As far as I can remember, there's only one guitar shop in Nelson, but maybe Ian knows of another.

I know that, for quite a while now, Ian has been trying to sell a very nice F50.

I'm sure that Ian would waste very little time in recommending it as a "Best Buy" to your B-I-L .

Leave it to the Kiwis to name a town after Ricky Nelson.

Rumour has it that it was named after Lord Nelson after the early settlers found that their town had a very high horatio of sunny days.

Not to be confused with Sonny Daze, husband of Daisy Daze, the Steamroller heiress. Who, contrary to popular belief, wasn't hairless. She had visited Brazil on a number of occasions but, hadn't adopted the popular culture.

It's a little known fact, even within Newsyland, that in one year recently, Nelson held a High Ho festival. It was massively supported by the bourgeoisie, but not by those on the hill. Those on the hill prevailed, as of course those on the hill always do. So alas, the High Ho festival saw only one summer.

Money changed hands, of course, and the winner of the inaugural Miss High Ho Beauty Pageant, Suzan Downer-Legge, was paid off with a handsome sum, and two boatsful of randy fishermen, kindly donated by the local Mackerel-Catchers Co-Op.

More like plummets, really. [/quote]

Yes, but how else would one think to google Nelson NZ whores, read up on the NZ Massage Parlours Act of 1978, and the Prostitution Reform Act, passed in June 2003.

Such cultural exchanges are invaluable. 8)

When I chime in, there's no tone at all.

But seriously, about fifteen seconds before opening this thread, I was thinking how the English prof can find no words about John's death. There's just a big iron block of grief, and I'm in it.

And when facilitated by mass media are frequently "presstituted".
