Hi Guilders, Been awhile since I've posted any questions or comments so please give me your thoughts on this. I'm thinking of removing the pickguard on my new GAD 25M. Many of you will agree that it isn't the most aesthetic of all guards. I wonder if any one has already done this and if so, does anything show up when it is removed and adhesive residue is taken off with naptha. I'm thinking of either installing a vintage Guild guard or maybe a round clear one if the wood grain is sweet underneath. Any/all responces are appreciated, Limmy

I use a regular blowdryer, one-sided razor blades, and once in a while, mono-filament line.
Warming the pickguard usually makes it possible to get beneath it.
Go slow and have fun!
