I don't have the benefit of being in a large urban area, where I can look over a lot of guitars. There is one Guild dealer in this town and he has new ones on hand and not many used ones ever. I am going to go back in there and play around on the Dreadnaught's he has, and go from there. I also have a pretty good amount of high frequency gone from my hearing, too much rock & roll and gunfire in the early 70s, so that I can't tell if some tones are even there, so as long as I can hear the tones of chords without it being muddy, I'm in good shape. The hearing loss is another great reason to get a Guild, I can tell the difference between the Guilds and the other high test brands he has in his store, Dean, Taylor etc., and the Guild's always have more to offer in sound and loudness.
