Do you mean Guild or in general? My favorite Jacksons are neck-through

Guy on FB is trying to sell some solid body Guilds as "neck-through" builds. Just checking, because I was going to say something.

I hadn’t even noticed his caption. Just the pointy headstocks.

…up for sale/offer is a trio of vintage Guild, made in USA, pointy headstock electric guitars. These are survivors. They have plenty of mojo. I have two of OHSC and some misc. parts to go with. These should be restored by someone who has the time and patience to bring them back to their 1990's glory. The two X80's have the inherent Guild twist setting in, and could use a good set up and necks redone. Do your research.
These are hard to find and typically sell for much more than my asking price.
I wasn’t aware of any “inherent Guild twist”. Don’t know how he expects the necks to be “redone”; once twisted, there isn’t a truss rod in the universe that will correct that.

The guy selling three of them? None of them are neck-through - they're all set-neck. I asked him if he would split them up as I was only interested in the X80 and he said no. Honestly, between the pics and his description I'm not interested.

I guess this thread needs at least one picture (or 4...):

Boy, that maple red one is very pretty!
Yeah that’s the one I asked after.

I have two X80s and while one doesn’t have original hardware, being maple they’re both much more robust than the X79s IMO. They’re much heavier too, though, but I love the feel of them as they feel more “real” to me.

That’s probably due to me playing an S300AD for many years which made me like guitars on the dense side.

Two X-80’s…he owns over 1% ever built. This sale had interested me too, but timing is bad as refurbing my X-79-3. I had never heard of neck twist issues with these. Maybe he confusing neck resets with older acoustics?
