The bassman is finally bangin. I confess that I was in over my head when I started this one. But I forced myself to go at it again with a new tech and he got it figured out in a couple hours. Found four Celestion G10-40s on ebay for $42.50 each and they sound fantastic.

Bueno, brother! Pretty dang loud, isn't it? What kit did you use?

No kit, I used Weber, Fender, and Ceriatone layouts. They were pretty much the same except the Ceriatone had an adjustable bias. I had it working but there wasn't any volume. The tech I was using couldn't find anything wrong so it sat on my bench. My new tech found a bad resistor between the 1 and 6 pins on V2 and that made all the difference. Now it's wicked loud but wicked sweet, completely different tone from the twin. Now I'm suffering from empty bench syndrome. Next project is a AB763 Blackface Deluxe.

It looks Great and I'll bet it sounds even better. Loud as all get out with some smooth Bassman tones. Congrats on finishing it! Love the cab, Really a classy look! Have you put any pedals to it yet?

The only pedals I've been using lately are reverb and a little blues distortion. I did hook up the chorus stereo to both the Bassman and the Twin but I think I'll have to buy a bigger house to air them out.
