Leave it in the back of your closet for a couple of weeks. "Oh, that? I've had that for a while."

buy her a diamond ring, then she won't care what you get. Last few years I've kept it to one a year but my tastes are getting too refined. Theres an article in Vintage Guitar mag about 401 K guitars comparing vintage guitar values to the Stock market. I tried showing her that but she was unimpressed. Wish I had in guitars what I just lost in the stock market. Whew!

Kiss her good-bye and pat her on the behind on "YOUR" way out the door.

BTW, my wife said; "buying guitars is better than chasing after other women".

Peace

I'm seriously thinking about cashing out and buying about 5 or 6 nice Guilds after today's bloodbath.

At dinner tonight, I sweetened my iced tea with NyQuil. I wish I could say that was a new low for me.

This was my buddies and my fishing anthem for a while... First time I heard it was on the local country station on valentine's day a couple years back. Some guy dedicated it to his girl friend: Brad Paisley's I'm gonna miss her... (hope the link is correct... I can't do Youtube on my dial-up connection).

Anne was very accepting when I told her I needed to buy my D-44 a week ago... 'course, I had just sold my 10" telescope for alomost exactly the price of the D-44 the week before. With the exception of my D-46, I have funded the cost of all my recent guitar purchases by selling other "toys." But, I have tried to impose a 1 per year quota on the last couple.

I'm gonna need a Jumbo in January. Decide amongst yourselves who's gonna give one up.

noo not diamond a year, a piece of (it's my therapy)musical equipment. After a neck injury I declared I needed an ultralite amp and got an Acoustic Image Corus combo amp. Its 400 watts in a 22 lb package and what a great tone, doubles as a small PA. It wern't cheap though. I've only gotten to use it once since I got it 2 monthes ago but it filled a gym. I figure it and the diamond ring cost about what I would've spent on a good guitar. This is to make up for the Loriente Classical I got last yr and the ES 335 I got the yr before.
