As promised here are some photos of my '73 M-75 Bluesbird. She has a nice "Harrison Ford" scar, which I am totally cool with. I think it adds character. Couple nicks here and there and some nice checking near the pickup toggle switch. It's almost impossible to own a black vintage guitar that doesn't show some signs of wear. All original hardware and electronics from what I can tell. No cracks, no repairs. I also have the OHSC with blue lining and original white label/sticker on the vinyl in the string pocket. Totally players grade Guild though. This thing was definitely played, I don't think its ever seen a closet. Enjoy and comment away!

That is awesome! I've never owned one, but now I'm GASing. Nice Hum avatar btw, I've got a few albums and they are great.

Lot's of bites, but no follow-through. Seems to be the way of craigslist lately, so it's off to eBay soon I guess. It sucks having to sell off some great Guilds, but since I have a guitar buying problem, I know there will be more in my future :D

Drooling Homer was my inspiration behind the wide-eyed Stinky Pete.

So that's the one you got at Willie's. Nice score there. Sometimes its worth it to take the plunge on a slightly overpriced Guild at a vintage guitar shop. I did, with my first S-100, the '73 walnut, after talking them down as best I could.

The M-75 is my second Guild. My first is a DV-6, I think its an '08? Yeah I am really glad I got her. I was actually in the market for a vintage Les Paul when I stumbled across her. I knew that vintage M-75's were rad because a couple artists I listen to play them live. So, I asked the dude at Willies if he would pull it down for me. I found an amp with just volume and tone controls, so I could really hear what she sounded like. I played it for about a half hour and talked the dudes there for another half. I also played a black S-60 with one pickup. I almost bought it too! No frills rock machine, probably one of the most comfortable necks I have held. It was just a little pricey.

Whoa! Your S-100 is a gorgeous 8) If you ever deciede to sell, I am local

My 3rd Guild will be either an S-100 or S-300.

This is becoming a dangerous and expensive place to hang out. Please put that black guitar away so I don't do something foolish!

I'll keep that in mind. I mean, I do have four S-100s. I'm just sayin...
