Squirrels. They are digging up my garden seeds and eating the leaves off of the ones that sprout.

I am not pleased.

When I was working my way through summer doing park maintenance this Harley riding cop would hide in the parking lot by the pool and we'd be chatting, and some biker would go flying by, loud pipes, no helmets back then, hair blowing, and the copper would fire it up and throw it in gear and peel outa sirens on, lol.

Then he'd come back and and wait for the next one and I'd ask, "So what was the deal with that one" and he didn't usually write any tickets cause he wasn't gone long but he'd say "I dunno, but he was squirrely", priceless. I rode an old Schwinn so I was impervious to any traffic laws.

^ The Joy of Cooking cookbook, isn't that? We have a worn out copy my mother-in-law had. I read somewhere you can tell what printing you have by what recipes are still in it.

My mother-in -law liked squirrel better than rabbit.

Put up bird feeders. Squirrels love them.
And you get the free Entertainment of watching them get into the bird feeder to get the seed watch. They can be quite ingenious!🐿

Last fall something really noisy in a tree got my attention, like a seriously asthmatic cat, but no, a very large Western Gray Squirrel making a big deal out of stealing walnuts. I'm thinking he was calling in the gals, hey check out my nuts.

On my morning walk yesterday, I encountered an elderly Sikh gentleman walking a large dog. Both looked pleasant and friendly. I said, “Good morning,” to him, and he replied with the same. I gave his dog a pet and a scratch behind the ear.

A second or two later, his dog barked at three other dogs behind a fence. It was a friendly tail-wagging sort of bark, and it set up a cacophony of friendly barking in reply.

Suddenly a door burst open, and a man with a purple face came out and started shouting loudly and angrily at the three dogs in the yard.

Cheerily, I said, “Good morning. They weren’t the first to bark, you know. The other dog started them off.”

He told me to mind my own business.

Well ... that, at least, is the gist of what he said. There was considerable graphic proctological detail about my body and just what exactly I could do with-it/to-myself in his actual response.

He shoved the dogs into the house, kicking one of them in the process. Then he slammed the door.

I don't think he was having a good day.

You know I like PET squirrels and I think they're cute. When we lived in the Hollywood Hills it was rough when the racoons would murder squirrels on the roof and we had to listen to that!! These animals are wild. The coons we tried to limit but there was such a huge food supply. That was back in late 80's.... hooo boy!!

It is a ways, seen as a light year is 5.88 trillion miles racked up as light travels through interstellar space at only 186,000 miles per second.

Too low. Good brown sound around from 8.74V~8.47V for me, it's a flavor thing on the battery, when it's just right.
Yep. And mainly w/ modulating pedals. That's why I love the Voodoo Labs pedal power block. Out of the 8 independent 9v outputs, 2 of them have adjustable output dials. 👍🏻 I got 2 of them just because of that. Not a fan of any flange, phase, vibe, chorus. etc...w/ hard edges.
