Hi fellers,
I'm in Memphis and Little Rock on business this week. Just got out of a meeting this afternoon when Ross the Magic Luthier called with his $$ estimate to make Bugly playable... Four hundred $$ minimum to reset the neck (again) and repair the warped/sunken area between the soundhole and neck. It would, at least be playable at this point. Another $200.00 to fix/replace the cracked bridge. That equals a $1600.00 investment just to be able to play around a campfire. Bottom line: Bugly is as Butt Ugly as I thought. I won't invest good money on a very bad deal... I'll continue to try to work with the seller who has been very difficult to reach. Saga continues.
On a lighter note, I had a neat tour to the FedEx Express World HQ building this afternoon. Extremely impressive... I hope to tour their Memphis air shipping hub tomorrow before leaving for Little Rock...
Best to all...
