I put a guitar on consignment with my local music store right before the virus hit. So when it happened, I asked them to put it for sale on-line as well, and it sold. Cost me a bit more in "fees" than if I sold it in the physical store, but I still did OK, and they were able to make a few bucks.

I fear for these small music stores (and other small businesses) if things don't get back to "normal" soon.

I know what you mean. We have a local folk music shop that also does repair work. Family owned and operated. Great assortment of instruments for such a small store. The husband and wife that started it over 40 years ago still handle the majority of the repairs. The children are also involved and have been for years. I had dropped off my 12 string to have the bridge reattached just before the shutdown. They continued with repairs, curb side style. They have always offered lessons and continued online. But even with these efforts you just don't know... It's not the same as having your doors open and I also worry about them as you do.

These shops cannot be replace by box stores or on line retailers.
