Interesting, strap button on the neck, but not (visible at least) on the bottom.

Yeah, I noticed that. Must have been owned by a folkie rather than a classical player. Wouldn't be a deal killer for me, though.

Me neither, just curious if there's only the one and why? Was the other removed or in a different place than usual.

Might just be in the case. Or lost. I imagine the hole is still there for it. The closeup of the back looks like it might just be showing the tip of the endpin. Hard to tell, but it's the only angle that may show it.

Maybe the strap was a loop around the body and the neck strap button was there just to keep the loop in place.
