The shortlist for my next acquisition is down to the F-47MCE and the CV-2C. Both these models are fresh out of the Tacoma plant, even if the F-47 and CV-1 has been made in their new design in Washington state for a while. The idea behind this purchase is getting a great fingerpicking and flatpick soloing guitar with the crisp response of the maple.

Both feature Red/ Adirondack top, maple b&s, mahog neck. Then features divert a rather great deal.
F-47: 25 5/8" scale, 20fr RW fb and br, 1 11/16" nut
CV-2: 25 1/2" scale, 21fr bound ebony fb and br, 1 3/4" nut. I have nothing against the bolt on neck design.

How would you go about? Do you have any preferences and why? Please take part in the poll and motivate your choice below!

PS. I kind of fancy the pickguard of the F-47 and since I'm having the CO-2C in mind for a fingerpicker the wider nut is no must have with the F-40 style guitar - but you'll be the judge.
