Re: M68 question

The origional DeArmond literature shows them as a set-neck. However I don't think that ever became a real product. The M68's I have seen are the bolt-on neck guitars made in Indonesia and not Korea.

Interesting concept for the guitar with the 2k pickups and the Harp talepiece.

Re: M68 question

I bought one on craigslist sight unseen for the pickups. The price was very good and I wanted another set of Dearmond 2k's. The guy swears it is not a bolt on neck. We'll see tomorrow. If it is a bolt on I will scavenge the pups. If it is set neck...well... IDK

I post pics because the info online is scarce..

Re: M68 question

So I bought a supposed M68 on craigslist for 200 + shipping. I thought I would part the pups and case and frankenstien the bolt on neck guitar for fun. It shows up today from UPS!!!! It looks like a M75 with goldtones and a factory case. Very unexpected surprise. There is not a Model # anywhere on this. Pics tonight! Somebody help me ID this. :D

The Dearmond online info is week! It's heavy, but chambered and has a carved top I think.
It sounds FANSTASTIC! I did not like the Goldtones on my S-73 at all. Totally different sound on this guitar. I played this in rehearsal last night and the guys flipped! BTW... Factory Dearmond case as well for a bonus. Best 200 beans I ever spent
