If anyone happens to have a spare original, or know where one can be found, I would love to find a rosewood height adjustable floating bridge for a T100. (Which I believe are the same as used on most Guild arched top electric and acoustic guitars from that period.)

Failing that, if there is a modern replacement bridge that is known to work well for these, I would appreciate any advice. (I do use wound Gs exclusively so would need the older style on the top.) After being initially skeptical a few years back I've become a big fan of wooden floating bridges on my guitars.

cheers, Mark

thanks Fixit, I'll start with the latter two suggestions in case I can turn up something vintage. One of my guitars has been on a strange quest for the last few years, starting with an aluminum Bigsby bridge, then a tune o matic/Nashville type on a wood base, then the same thing with a not quite fitting vintage wooden top, and now an old Melita which looks cool but doesn't sound that great. I hope to end it's recurring national nightmare.
