So I'm getting ready to put the D-45 back in it's case and I notice a phone number inside top lid.

Feeling like doing a little sleuthing I called to see if I could get some back history on it. Turns out it is wife of current owner, departed this year and the Martin was one of many she was looking to liquidate.

He had purchased used but mint.

I'm not sure but I think the plastic is still on the pick guard. She wants $2,100, with case. She's going to put it on CL, local sale only. I'm happy with my JF-30 but everything they say about the F50 Standard is true.

It's sitting in my room until after Christmas then I give it back.

Happy to send along to an LTG'er in good standing. I'd love to keep it but not in the cards right now.

Looks like a New Hartford F50 Standard, and I'm sure it's a great guitar. I think $2100 is a little dear for it, but I'd like to think mine is worth that much!

She had done a lot of research on the guitars she hws as far as what they are and ebay asks...maybe not sold prices...

I'm reluctantly bringing it back, (my JF-30 is just fine), and I dont think she'd mind a more knowledgeable valuation.
