Just found out that Kim Simmonds, long time leader of Savoy Brown has passed away after a long battle with cancer

Oh no, not another one gone. Dino Danelli, drummer for The Rascals died last night. I'm saddened. I knew Dino quite well, and met Kim back in the 70's in Central Park, at a Savoy Brown show. Nice guy.

Savoy Brown’s LP Raw Senna is a really good album. It has an interesting perspective on blues; with strong songwriting and effective vocals. Kim Simmons plays his butt off on that record.
