Just wanted to share that I just received my new 2005 Tacoma built Guild F50 purchased on Ebay and I have to say, it's the best Guild jumbo I've ever owned. Guitar is in excellent to near mint condition! I've owned 4 other JF30's (2 Pre-Fenders, 1 Westerly Fender, and 1 Corona), and the Tacoma's fit, finish, and tone are excellent. Everything about this guitar is beautiful! I owned a Westerly Fender D55 a few years back but I never made this type of impression on me. I really like the contrast of the neck and maple body. In pictures, it looks like it's one color but it's really a dark stain. Upon close inspection you can see the details of the the 3 piece neck. Really rumbles with an aggressive strum with it's belly held closely. Every part of my body that touches this guitar feels it's vibration while playing. I am so please and you guys would not believe me if I told you how much I paid for it.
Just wanted to share and ask if anyone knew whether the Tacoma Jumbos are thinner than the Corona's and Westerly's. This guitar fits in my guitar stand as apposed to the others; they were a little thicker and didn't fit in the stand as well.
