I can imagine the nut getting absolutely wrecked if you used the bar heavily. They didn’t make a locking nut mechanism for the bass Kahlers so the constant friction in the slots would be like taking an angle grinder to them. I figured a fretless would do what the Kahler can but way more musical.The one person I know with a similarly equipped Pilot bass has said it isn't especially useful on bass.
