Interesting comparison between Jumbo Guitars, 2 Gibsons, a Taylor and a Guild (2 Maple, 1 Mahogany and 1 Rosewood)

I think that strings probably are the factory set : unless the've had some of the guitars for long enough to need a string change (in which case they'd still probably put the same strings that the guitar had before)...I've never been to the shop, never bought from them either (I live very far), but I receive their videos regularly (though not all of them it seems). Guitars don't seem to remain in the shop for very long, as they do a lot of videos, seem to be friendly and have quite good prices as well. Thanks for that link. One thing no one mentions when they make these comparison videos is what kind of strings are on the guitars. Do you assume that they are the factory set?
I thought from reading these guitar forums that strings can make a big difference.
Still learning so I appreciate your reply.
Thought you might have suspected that the Guild was poorly served by old strings, or strings that didn't work so well (hence its not succeeding in showing how the Gibsons and Taylor sounded as toys compared to it ). Actually I would have expected the Guild (and Taylor too) to do a bit better. 1 RW Gibson, 2 Maple Gibson, shortly before Guild, was my last take 2nd time listening, then Taylor (could still change)...Hi Bernie, I really was referring to all the people on YouTube who do reviews of guitars, not just this video. I should have worded my question that way and am sorry I was misleading. I had hoped that the answer was factory strings!
