That's a great vintage photo! I love the stage, the amps lined up behind them - typical 60's band set up!

Not to veer but this just remind me how lucky us geezers were to go to a local show, a high school dance, whatever, and see a live local band. No DJ's just playing digital music as loudly as possible. Students in my classes (college) seriously think a DJ is a "musician" - when did that happen??

So true. My high school prom, 1971, Orange Park, FL. The band was Lynrd Skynrd.

Something about that photo really got to me. Maybe it's seeing Joe so young. Maybe it's the setup. Maybe its the Starfire V just like my original Starfire V that was a 16th birthday present from my Mom and Dad and was later stolen (my Unicorn, long gone I'm sure). Maybe its just wondering where all the years have gone, especially with a first grandchild. Anyway, thanks so much for posting and sharing this.

I spent 4 years of my youth as a radio disc jockey and now when I mention that to anyone young, even though I always preface it with "radio", they look at me like it was a very strange concept.
