We went to WXPN's World Café Live last night to see Michaela Anne - young singer songwriter now based in Nashville with a beautiful voice (BFA in Jazz Vocal Performance from the New School). She's on tour opening for Joe Pug.

My current favorite cut from her Desert Rose Dove CD is:

We stuck around for Joe Pug, and really enjoyed him and his songs, including a beautiful cover of John Prine's Sam Stone. He played two different Guilds:

He had all kinds of audio problems that he blamed on his DI. He went so far as to sneak into the green room and swipe Michaela Anne's guitar out of the case while she was out of the room. He ended up doing a couple songs unamplified which worked since it is a small room. The ultimate solution was to put a mic on a stand for him and his bass player, and that worked OK.

Could you tell what particular soundhole pickup he had?

I blew up the image and I cannot definitively say 'hog or rosewood, but if pressed I would say it is "hog-ish":

My initial reaction on seeing the guitars was "there's a D-40SB and a D-25M".

Looks closer to that to me. Wonder if it's an Oxnard? I played one at a local Sam Ash, and thought it was outstanding.
