with the exception of lower bout size, is there a real significant difference between a jf 30 12 , and an f 412,? i own an f 412. and 2 other guild 12 strings.. But i am intrigued with a jf 30 12
that im seeing at a very good price .

As far as I know, the JF30-12 is the same guitar and the F412/JF65-12, minus the bling. And if you get one that's made in Corona CA, you'll even get the ebony fretboard and bridge. I had one that was a fantastic guitar.

i assumed that to be true, just wanted to be sure.But i do like having the 12 strings here, that i can keep tuned in alt. tunings. i can get this jf 30 12 for under 700. so,i think ill probably go on & purchase thanks

Under $1,700 is a steal for a F412, but seems like a lot for a JF30-12, which often sell in the $800 - 1200 range.

I thought the same thing, too. I bought my as new Corona made one for $1000 all in, but you may not find one for that price anymore.

i have an f412. but the jf 30 12 strings ive seen are all around 1800.
