I have a '73 Bluesbird AAA, and '86 Bluesbird, a '68 Polara, and a vintage dreadnought of an unknown year.

Taking bets on how long LTG would take to ID the dreadnought. Five minutes after posting?

G-Shield leg tattoo?

No joke. On Ebay, some very serious Guild devotee ( and Vegan) is selling his Guild hat and Guild leather guitar strap that he was given years ago because he showed off his Big Guild leg Tat at the N.A.M.M. Guitar show.
Its listed under "NOS Guild guitar leather strap, hat" Check out that leg shot.
Al? Is that you.

John,

Another post on the same subject! viewtopic.php?f=2&t=26526

It is hard to believe........but, hey, he loves his Guild! :)
There are many people/things that I love, but a tattoo?
No thanks. I guess I don't really see the point. :?

I'm reminded of the classic Norman Rockwell painting of a sailor in a tattoo parlor having the name of his latest sweetheart tattooed on his arm, right below several names of ex-sweethearts which had been crossed out.

But, as in all things, to each his own.

"Hey boss, de plane!"

Joe

That is some kind of dedication. I wonder if the number at the bottom is a serial number! :)

edit: it is! Serial number of his '73 Bluesbird. Wow!

 The lost post....Oh ,Here it is. Sorry, my mistake.
But what a character............What guild devotion!!!
Guess He'll never sell his '73 Bluesbird. Man, If i did that for all my Guilds, I'd be turning into 'The Illustrated man'.
Funny thing. I'd bet he never really regrets getting that Tat. Such is the mind of the extreme Devotee.

Only my girlfriend knows for sure. But at least I have the guitar to back up my story.
Otherwise she'd be calling me "THX 1138". :D
