Not trying to be a jerk, that really was my only motivation. I'd say you're the most trustworthy with Guild parts here, so I have no objection to what you do with the part. Couple that with the fact that I'm only trying to get my first archtop, I only wanted it for future needs. Good luck with the 12, it looks awesome already.
