iPod Recorder Anyone have any experience with one of these?

Seems like a nifty gadget and only 50 bucks or so...

I checked with a friend who has the mono version of this iPod recorder. She uses it to record shows, rehearsals, and concerts (with permission of performer). She really likes it but warns of battery consumption with the stereo one. But, if you're recording yourself she said it should be fine. The files move automatically to your computer when you synch. They are very large WAV files.
