Richard sort of beat me to the punch. I recently acquired a new (well vintage) Jazzmaster and it appears to be in an Ess and Ess case, much like the one housing my JS-II. Were these pretty standard cases for Guild? Any idea what would house it? It's fine for the JM length wise, but the depth is too deep for it really to be useful for the JM.

I don’t know about the case, but that’s a beautiful JM. Hands down my favorite Fender. Great PU’s wonderful vibrato, comfortable body. Only flaw is the awful bridge, and it looks like yours has already been upgraded.
Congratulations! Play it in good health.

Thanks @shihan. The JM really came together in a way I never could have predicted. I had a 65' body with a 66' Coronado neck, with some great modern parts. All the sudden, a 65' JM pops up out of town on Craigslist and the only thing that wasn't 65'...the body. I talked to the buyer for a few weeks and he decided to sell and not trade, so I put the beast together. I just sold the Jazzado (my nickname for the Coronado'd necked guitar) so I'm down to the one great 65' now.

And yes, the bridge was upgraded. This is a stay trem. I've owned a lot of vintage JMs over the years. This rivals the best of them.

Man, that’s super nice. The blonde is unusual for a mid ‘60’s model; as you know most are SB. I used to have a ‘65, that was a great guitar; foolishly, I sold it.
Regrets...I have a few....
that definitely is a keeper. Enjoy it!

Oh it’s not blonde. That’s the fullerplast sealer. It’s stripped and for now, stating that way. If it gets a finish in the future it will be burgundy mist metallic.
