I'm digging my D2612CE after a few months.

I posted all of my adventures with my open box D2612CE from Sweetwater a while ago and wanted to share my post honeymoon feelings.
I played it a lao the last few weeks and finally decided it should make am appearance in my band Dumb Blind Luck.
I used it with great success even on songs that aren't really ideal for a 12. (A guitar's a guitar, right?). I had some issue getting it to work through the PA with my Bangs Paracoustic DI, so I just plugged it into my amp. That isn't ideal, but it sounded darn good.
On songs I play down the fretboard it sounds much better than my electric 12, more harmonic richness without getting too busy sounding in the mix.
Up the neck it still sounds great and I can even solo up past the 10th or 12th fret and the intonation is good.
I write on an acoustic 12 so my songs sound especially good with this instrument.
I am really happy that I got this guitar in spite of thinking I was being silly getting a second Guild 12.
Guild is doing a really nice job on the imports, this guitar certainly deserves to be called a Guild.

I was just shopping around for this model Today. Liked it lever the other as it has binding. My only concern is that 12 strings tend to have high action at the 12th fret. I’m glad to hear you got one that works well. I’m searching, maybe find a used one of lucky.

Sweetwater will set it up to your specs including strings of choice. When I got it the action was too high and the strings too hard to finger. Sweetwater sent me a set of D'Addario extra lights and was going to replace and set the guitar when more came in and wanted me to hang on to it until another came in. (There was a cosmetic issue.). After putting on the lighter strings and playing it for a week I decided I liked the guitar too much to trade in. I asked if they'd just give me a Guild Deluxe case and we'd call it even. They jumped at it. So I got my local luthier to lower the saddle and it was perfect. The case would have cost me more than the setup. The only bad thing is the guitar fits very snuggly in the case. It fits but it's tricky.
Anyhow it's a great guitar... YMMV

Glad to hear it worked out. I have ordered guitars from stores that say they do set ups, then they ship me a guitar that’s whacked. Sounds like you have a good relationship with them. Its still on my short list.

My F212Xlce is a 1/8 at the 12th but I’ve not checked it out in a bit . My old Yamaha F312 was set up at a 1/8 that was a dream to play and stayed that way for 15 plus yrs .

only thing that will get good low action is a good neck set and level fretboard you all know that so …… off I go.
