Hello everybody, I'm new to this forum.
I just reasently bought a used Guild acoustic guitar. The sound of this guitar is fantastic. I'm however not an acoustic guitar player, but could you give me some view points on this guitar.
The guitar internal label say DC/E AD112272 and on the head stock truss rod cover, "True American". It is also equipped with very nice and smooth working golden tuners.
Thanks!

Welcome to LTG!

As for your Guild, from the SN, it looks like it should be a DCE1 from 1996. (If I recall correctly) A cutaway dread with factory electronics?

Hi numbers, congrats on your True American! Great looking Guild. I've almost pulled the trigger on one of those a couple of times, may yet. Got any pics you could share with us?

Hello all,
Here is a picture of the guitar...I have just changed strings on it...d'Addario 0.012 the sound is so nice. I have not played too much on acoustic guitars but this one seems to be very nice compared to what I have tried before.

Welcome, and nice score! Gotta love the DCE series - arched back, nice electronics, cutaway, gold tuners, is that an ebony bridge? What's not to like about that? :D

Many congrats, Numbers. :) May you have many happy years with your DCE-1. Classic, mahogany cutaway dread. Supremo!

Hello, and welcome!

What's the deal with the whole "True American" thing? That's a DCE1 I believe, which is essentially a D25 with a cutaway and Fishman UST. I have one myself from 2001 and I dig it!
