Ibanez Guild LAwsuit Era

Interesting Craigslist posting in Los Angeles, an Ibanez identified as a Guild lawsuit era from the 70s.

I was not aware that any Japanese manufacturer had copied the Guilds, but obviously from the picture, it is a pretty good imitation, and only $395. Reminds me of Takamine's copies of the 70's Martins. I own one of those, and I must say, it sounds pretty good.

Anyone played one of these Ibanez?

Interesting stuff.. In the end, the "lawsuits" were a good idea, forcing Takamine and Ibanez to improve and individualize their product.
