Yes.
Lucky to live in MA, where we have historically excellent pro sports teams. It makes rooting for your team easier when they actually win. What the Patriots have done in the last 17 years is unlikely to ever be repeated. For Belichek and Brady to win so consistently for so long with an ever revolving cast of players is outrageous.
And part of it is the rest of the leagues inability to put together a good team, and definitely their inability to find a good head coach. How many coaches have we seen simply fold under pressure against the Pats? Literally hand them the game? Seattle in the Super Bowl. Atlanta in the Super Bowl. The Steelers more than once, most recently this season.
I give more credit to Tom Coughlin than Eli Manning for those two Super bowl wins. Great game planning. And BTW, the way the Giants treated Manning this past season was embarrassing - he deserved much better.
Go Pats!
