Well...I did it again...couldn't resist the bargain, last week I scored a 1964 T100 on Ebay for $986 and got it, whithout having ever seen one in reality, here in Italy you don't see them around. I read wonderful reviews and comments about this model on the net . It arrived yesterday ,just 5 days after purchasing it and I just love it, it's in very good shape for a 43 years old guitar, just minor cosmetic issues, some binding checking on the headstock easily fixable. Plays fantastically, unplugged it looks like an acoustic, so much volume. the pick ups are beautiful as well, the neck one is really warm and fat, the bridge one quite biting. The distorted sound with my Fender Hot Rod Deluxe is my beloved Kinks "You Really Got Me" 100%!!!!
I can't believe that a vintage beauty like this is so overlooked and so cheap...we're very lucky with our Guild passion:it's still very approachable financially, take advantage while it lasts!!!!

Sorry, I've got some problems in loading pictures of the T100d, but I found out that they're already here in the forum :you can see my guitar in the post posted by JP Monday Nov 5 on page 2 of Archtops /Hollowbodies ,the post about single coil pick-ups.
He loaded the pictures of my guitar when it was still on sale on e-bay some days before i bought it commenting on the fact that the seller provided dubious infos about the type and brand of thepick-ups.
I actually love the sound of those p.u, they're surely no De Armonds but have character, tone ,vibes, definition that is perfect for the music Iplay (classic '60s and '70s rock, blues and some country-rock).
Once I noticed that the price of the guitar was being reduced two times, started at $1170 and in the end was $986 I decided to buy it..now or never!!! Altough I know that months ago they were cheaper on e-bay I 'm glad I got it ,to me it's quite a dream to get a real vintage guitar from the sixties in such a good condition that plays like heaven at this price..here in Italy if you're lucky enough to find a vintage Guild it sells for 3-4times that price at least.
