Hard to say. If it was, there would probably be a raised outline of it showing on the new shielding.
I wasn't responding so much to the shielding, but more about the nice even routing countersink for the coverplate, and the shape of the cover. I guess that could be done at home, but I'd think if I was making a one-off, I'd much rather use a shape that there is an existing off-the shelf cover, like for a Les Paul. The routing looks irregular but the copper shielding looks right. How hard is that to do by hand or in not-the-factory?

There are also treble-bleeds on the volume controls, which definitely wouldn't be from Guild, but they look like they were added after the fact.
He likes to watch us try to figure it out until smoke is pouring out of ears before jumping in with an answer. We are free entertainment.Gonna need @hansmoust for this one!
I thought that too but I also thought that the backs of these detachable necks were finished clear, not painted. There is always the exception though.Could it be a neck from one of the bolt-on S-300's, attached to a custom made (probably not Guild) body?
Possibly refinished? If so, it looks a professional job. I do wonder if Guild made any necks like this, other than the S-300 onesI thought that too but I also thought that the backs of these detachable necks were finished clear, not painted. There is always the exception though.
Yes, but can you program the @hansmoust to be activated at the same time?
Guild, man! GUILD!So does the "G" make this the GAD Signal?
