GAS is on me my dear folks,
I just bough a Sunburst Guild DeArmond M-65 Guitar on ebay,

with the S300 at home, couldn't stand to keep using my first guitar (a squier strat)
And I have some excuses to have a second guitar, there is a lot of music players at work, and a lot of occasion to play/practice there
I was a bit uncomfortable carrying the S300 every day, so I was a bit looking for a cool guitar I could carry without dying to add a scratch,
It's a DeArmond of course, but I was less the price of the squier (that I sold) so it cant be a bad deal,

Plus it's sunburst, and I cant resist to guitars with visible wood
I expect to get her sooooon :)

Congrats!

I now am firmly resisting the temptation to comment about visible wood.

Like me, you're a quick learner beebop. Next thing you know you'll be saying "where did all these cases come from?"

beebop,
If there is one place in this this world where you don't need to fabricate excuses for your GAS, believe me, it's here.
However, since we're all more or less "infected", it is a good place to come to for group therapy.
Soooo, we understand your decision to purchase, it was the right thing to do, congrats, and we will understand when (not "if" but "when") you notify us of your next purchase.
Even if it occurs before you receive the M-65!
Oh, and pics would make everybody feel good too.

Beebop,

You're catching on. You've just justified your way into another guitar, for all the right reasons. Better to transport a DeArmond than your S-300, and it's sunburst, so I'm with you all the way on that one. Just make sure to post photos ASAP.

Now lets see if you can match Thunderface's one-a-month average.

Congrats on ditching that Squier.

There have been a few cases where an LTG member has acted as an intermediary between a seller and an overseas buyer. Keep posting and establish a reputation and maybe someone can step forward and help the next time.

And if you spend a little more than what you would have on that one you can get a DeArmond with a set neck instead of bolt-on and better pickups.

Every time I had a deal falling through, the next one coming was always better, making me think everything happens for a reason, so hang in there, I know you'll do even better on the next one, and no worries, still plenty of fuel for your GAS out there!

The end of the story, the seller called back, saying it was ok to send to france, the guitar arrived this morning,
I dont think you'll be interested in photos, since its more a guild -erzats than the real deal,

For now I am not sure what I think about it and if I really like the sound or not, seems to me bright, clear not loud at all but still quite nice
The guitar is in mint condition, I dont kown if I want to keep it or not
