The title says it all. I’m looking for a case for my 65’ Starfire and thought I’d ask here first. Thanks all!

Thanks @DeArmond Hammer. I fully expect that that is where I'll end up. Honestly, I am just as happy to have a new case as a vintage one. I thought maybe someone would have a spare.

I’m partial to thermoplastic cases & have my ‘97 Starfire III (converted to a ll) in a Gator molded case that’s supposedly made to fit ES-335 style guitars. With a small pad slightly lifting the back, it’s a very nice fit. Here’s a photo of the guitar resting comfortably:

I once bought a ‘60s vintage Starfire case. Still have it but I don’t use it. The padding inside has compressed so much that it just rattles around so I use the later TKL Westerly case it came with for a snug fit.

On the other hand, the 50s Lifton Guild case that came with my ‘60 Starfire II is a joy and a thing of beauty and still works well.

Bummer. I also shut down my ebay account after 21 years. I'm over ebay. Thanks for passing it along though.

I guess I just meant to demonstrate that they're out there...it's possible to find one. I bought a '64 F-30 with the wrong case, advertised my WTB desires here, and a LTGer came up with an original for me. There's hope! Good luck!
