CHF 6000 equals roughly USD 6680.
The autographer in question, Kenji Girac, is the winner of a french talent show. Never heard of him.

At least he has a "beard," doesn't quite look like he forgot to shave this morning and needs a friggin' shower...

Rest of his band looks like they are trying to have USMC haircuts from about 1985...:cautious:

Not my preferred style of music, but he indeed is talented. I believe the title of that tune is a term of affection in Arabic.

I'll forgive him the sartorial indiscretions this one time, but he still shouldn't have signed (and blatantly over-priced) the guitar!

Huh. My question about "Happy Together" was somewhat serious. If it's not that song he sure copped the melody from it!

It is not "Happy Together". The chorus proves that.

The descending chord progression (Em, D, C, B in one key) is fairly common. "Walk, Don't Run" uses the same descending progression but with a major, not minor. This is why plagiarism lawsuits are so difficult. For those who care to use it them are a whole lot of tools in the music theory toolbox that would lead to this progression and a similar basic melody over the top of it.

Wow! How long did it take to learn music theory that well?

Since I couldn't understand the words, I took a shot!

I agree with your comment. Most (all?) music is at least somewhat derivative.
