For FL county courts, they send them in the mail and, yes, if you really want to get out of criminal trial, cross your fingers (optional) and say your Aunt or neighbor or someone close to you was a victim of a similar crime - especially effective in DUI-driven matters. It'll get you off that jury but not necessarily out of the pool. They could still call you for another matter ... but you may find this dodge only works once ... or maybe twice ... avoid excessive use and consult your doctor if it lasts more than 4 hours ...

Seriously though what time are folks likely to be there - if all goes according to plan American Airlines Flight 51 from Heathrow arrives DFW 2.25PM. So allowing for a full body search by immigration control, and assuming they don't put me on the next plane back, and allowing for the shuttle bus trip, I could be checking in as early as 3.30pm, if I'm lucky, still in possession of a D35 in a playable condition. You might recognise me - I'm only 4ft 6inches high and have two heads :mrgreen:

Check in and then look in the coffee shop at the left side, when looking at the hotel from the outside. That's usually where we gather.

Many will have something with the Guild logo on to help identify.

I would think that many will be there by that time.

We'll caravan over from the Lazy B around noon Jerry, should put us at the lobby coffee shop around 2:30. Oh, and there's also a sports bar there Jerry.....in case you'd like more than coffee to wind down. Try to not be too looped by the time we get there, if you show up in the yellow stockings, drunk, you may be taken advantage of in Dallas......ever seen "Deliverance"?
