Shawn Colvin is amazing. No lie. Of course, Emmylou Harris and Patty Griffin and Buddy Miller are amazing in their own right. That's a great link. I listened to it about six months ago...... just phenomenal.

I remember when Shawn Colvin as on the cover of Acoustic guitar many years ago when I first checked out her music.
She's a great talent. I remember watching that concert it was amazing. Thanks for posting to re-live the magic.

That thing has become a real ear worm, I'm finding the chorus is a little tricky as to the rhythm, but am getting there. I play it using D shapes in "drop E" tuning as i do 50% or so of what I do, and it is a natural fit. "Drop E" is an easier version of drop D (which is pretty easy anyway) where you capo the A, D, G, B, E, on the second fret leaving the low E open. That way you can play the D shape using all 6 strings. Gives it a lot of punch if needed.
