I didn't notice.

Not a problem although sometimes I don't always get the connection between the old and new material and would have preferred a new thread. :)

Oh I wasn't complaining. I like it when we bring old threads back to life...
I was just remarking, the last post before his was from 2012. lol

I love the F47 model. It was the first guild I ever bought when i was around 16, and still have it today. I have had F47s from Westerly, Tacoma, and New Hartford and loved them all. They were built with all the main wood selections like Mahogany, Maple, Rosewood, and Koa. Congratulations on your purchase. Sounds like you got a deal on it.

Does anybody have any experience with the late 90's Westerly version, of the F-47ce?

What I really want to know is how you would describe the neck profile.... 8 know that it has a 1 11/16 nut, but it is it a fairly slim neck, or is it chunky?

I'll say forever, a 16" mini-jumbo is the best all-around guitar you can own. It has nearly all the punch of a dread, but you can finger pick on just like an OM. It's the first reason why I'll never sell my F44. It's also why I regret not buying a GF30 last year (and just talked with a friend who brought his regret for not buying the same guitar).

Yea, I coukd not agree more. The problem is that they are hard to find. I would ideally like a GAD F-40, but there are literally none for sale, anywhere. I'm looking at a GF-25 right now
