For that price? Dumb. For $20? Maybe.
I get why people dig original case candy but I would not pay more for a guitar that had it. I have a bunch of Guilds with that stuff in the case pocket and I generally say, “huh - cool” close the case pocket and never care again.

Anyone who lives in Ft Lauderdale is suspect in my book. It's the home of many of those spam callers offering free vacations on cruise ships and Florida resorts.

Not being a REVERB seller - a question: Can one put an item for sale at ridiculuos high price - then mark it sold without having to pay comission - or whatever it is called - to REVERB ???

You can't personally mark any item as sold; only end the offering. Only Reverb can mark an item sold.
Reverb is a pain now. I think you have to use there payment system. It all went to c-rap when Etsy acquired them.
