Sorry Boys, This makes no sense to me at all,

Bye
I'm sure it's quite bizarre to you, Gary.

The inside joke is that Scratch posted a New Years resolution to not buy any guitars this year. According to Graham's official tally, he has purchased seven  (sold some along the way as well).

A happy Gad30 owner here. Incredible guitar for the price. Some object to the Not American, it's made in China.

I guess this is where one is suppose to introduce his self. I'm an actor who makes a living working at a Victorian village somewhere in the deep South. I just recently acquired Two Guilds, a D-40 from Guitar Crazy, and just won a 1974 F-212 from ebay. I have been playing guitar since 1968 and really got serious in the early 70's with the rise of folks like Denver, Chapin, Taylor, and such. I played quite regularly for years but kinda lost interest  but now I've found it again :D (I do play the fiddle, but it goes with the job. ) It's a pleasure to find other folks who have an interest in Guilds because I think they are the best. :D

I have you down as purchasing 7 thus far this year. I believe my poll asked how many you would purchase this year. Selling was not in the equation neither are net results!!

Hi all; Just joined your little forum here. I just got two Guilds this month and I'm a happy guy. :D I've been playing guitar seriously since the early 70's. ( I took lessons in '68) It took the likes of John Denver, Harry Chapin, and James Taylor, etc to get me really into playing. I play the fiddle at work; I'm an actor at a Victorian village and some of my roles require fiddlin'. I do plan to bring the guitars to work this summer and play them. I do have down time in the summer, we don't have school kids. The Guilds I have are the D40 Ritchie Havens and a 1974 F212. 8) I have other guitars but this is a Guild forum. :D

Welcome aboard Finallygota... Also have a D40 Richie and an F212. What wonderful guitars. I play in a small restaurant once a month and those are the two guitars I take. Something special about a nice mahogany sound in a small intimate setting. Post up some pics if you get a chance...
