Hi Guys,

Here are some pics I promised of my '89 D-60 and her siblings. I just spent a few minutes jangling on each (kind of how I routinely have to pet each of my three Welsh Corgis). I did some barbecue earlier and had a beer, now a little vino. I'm going to play some more in a while. I'm not very good, but God do I love it...

AJ :D

Very, Very nice. What exactly is a D60 and how does the tone of it compare with your new D55? Welcome aboard!!

Absolutely beautiful AJ. Betcha Graham likes those window sills too!

Prick!

You have to understand Graham's interest in window sills as they are a bit of a novelty in Canada - they don't really have them in log cabins. In fact, don't really have windows - just a hole in the wall with a hanging beaver pelt to keep out the rain and snow

The D-60 used to be called a D-66 in the early/mid 80's. It was Guild's top of the line dreadnought. It became the D-60 in 87 and temporarily replaced the D-55 and was the top dread. It was discontinued in 89 and the D-55 came back into production as the top dread.

My D-55 sounds remarkable close to my D-60 (a tribute to Guild) and the tone of the D-60 is very slightly higher. Both fabulous guitars.

I wondered about those window sills!
