It's pretty likely the two saddles have the same stud spacing if not you can hog the holes a bit on your compensated saddle. Most are between 2.9" and 3.0". It's not talked about much but I think the Corona X-150(D), X-160, and X-180 are the same 3x16" maple body and just dressed differently. The base you bought might match up quite well with your X-150's top. If not it's a simple matter to work that out. Let us know if it doesn't quite fit.

Maybe we should start a new thread for that since the original post was about very different guitars and matters then we're discussing now.

Yes Chris and thanks. I started a thread a few months back

but it didn't generate much interest. Since Hans was discussing original and non original bridges I figured I'd get in while I had his attention.

Just a quick question and then I'll start a new thread. This was almost TOO easy. Got her on and the new bridge base fits great, tight across the top - EITHER direction. :numbness: Not talking about the top section only base bottom - is there something I should be looking out for as far as pitch of the bridge or anything else. I thought there would be an obvious difference in fit. Maybe because it's a laminate top this isn't such a critical issue? Maybe I'm over thinking . . .
Pics after new strings arrive. Thanks again :cupcake:

Brown Recluse has listed the Stratford Starfire up for sale. You can find it in the LTG Forum section FS/FT. I will be holding onto the X-175 Deluxe for the time being.
