Hi Barb! Good to hear from you, and good luck on the sale!

<Waves from Rockledge, PA> I have friends in tbe Collegeville/Skippack area. We're practically neighbors, forum-wise...

I wish! I haven't found a band in the suburbs to perform with. Closest match for my kinda music was in Delaware county and I did not much feature driving 30 miles to get to rehearsals. Fooey.

And Ralf, as always, is right that some of the F512's have that inlay. What should we call it? Curlycue inlay? French inlay? Greco inlay? 512/612 inlay? Coastie on peyote inlay?

Someone a long time ago referred to them as "Florentine" inlays, so that's a term I used in the ad. Not sure where that came from, though. Maybe Hans can weigh in?

Florentine inlays: Came from Carlo Greco. I found the original post I wrote on this forum about my visit to him to set up my 512, and he referred to them as Florentine. Aha!

Just under 1 hour E.T. from "for sale" post to that.

I'm surprised it took that long.

Fastest gun in the west.

<<grin>>

You guys crack me up! I haven't purchased it yet. I am just first inline at the moment. We will see how everything works out after Miss Barbara gets it checked out.

That solves it for me! Florentine it is. I have heard others refer to them as "Celtic" inlays as well but I think Mr. Greco's stamp of approval trumps all.
