As I sit
touched
by the embrace
of His love

questions dissolve
in the current
of His understanding

There is one beginning.........and one end
There can be as many mistakes, as there are possibilities

There is one way.......and there are no mistakes

There are paths as long as you want to make them.

To know oneself is to have the capacity to know others
to know others, is to have the capacity to know oneself.

to know is to observe
to observe is to know
silence is sensitivity
awareness is silence

A heart that is silent, open, observant, and knowing
has the capacity to love

and knowing love is knowing God

And so, a seed is planted
germinates
and the struggle begins
for an existence
of latent potential to manifest itself
and every blade of grass
has a place of its own

In the heart of knowing,
a child is smiling,
an old man sits
a twinkle in his eye

...soft as a fragrance

the voices of the angels are calling to us
rejoicing....in the glad tidings of love

........of love lost
..............love found

and the flow of understanding,
as it is weighed,
.................and measured by time.

Big Thank You.....& thoughts/poems from a much younger me!

Thanks guys, someone once said 'a poet is a lover with a good memory.'
I have a lot of this stuff, and it is a blessing to be able to take something from within, express it and be able to look at the reflection of that spirit within and share it with others, also sometimes requires some courage.
It is really kind of amazing to see a lot of that on this forum, whether its pointing out something wrong, in opinion or fact. (i.e. your truss rod cover is upside down :lol) Brutal.....like having your fly open! or posting an imperfect song for the forum and the world to hear, Its all taken is such a good spirit....downfall.......what you feed grows, I have added 3 more Guilds to the 2 I originally had....not complaining....So I raise a toast to all the accomplishments, of any kind to any of the members who have stepped up their game as a result of this forum, I'll be in that group, thanks to people like Steel, Coastie, Frosty, Jerry, Joan and so many others who have honed their talents and humor (humour to you Jerry) and share them under this umbrella. I know its helped, and is helping me heal and grow, and I can't believe I'm the only one. This is a place where one might discover what love might look like. Steffan

Well Its a year later, and this is still one of my favorite places, with some of my favorite people...wishing you all a special blessing this day....In fact I'm thinking that everyone has a Christmas blessing, everyone...and if we accept that and pay attention there will be new blessings discovered each and every day...so thanks to all my friends here for their blessings and support...now...it should take you less than two minutes to discover at least a few big time blessings in your life, and with that...and thoughts again of appreciation...Merry Christmas, and may this coming year be surprisingly good for each and every one of us....
