I know, this really should be in tech shop section, but it's a long winter already, and this is more entertaining that your areverage tech shop topic. Staving off boredom by doing "research" I came upon this, from Ted Weber's catalog;
"Hemp cone, very soft material, darker, warmer, foggy and less focused. Hemp’s longer fibers give treble notes a sub-harmonic richness that warms the sound. Great for that hazy stoner metal thing where articulation isn’t the objective. It cuts the treble, but it also affects the overall response and feel to be more squishy.

"Oh lordy, Mama, it's just so gawd dang far,
I say, oh lordy, mama, it's so gawd dang far,
Gotta me from the bong, now, to the cookie jar!

Ain't got no other objectives, none I can articulate,
Ah ain't got no other objectives, none I can articulate,
Don't got no good luck now, da last cookie m'woman just done ate."

Bought an Eminence Patriot Series Hemp speaker & didn't like it at all. I'm only after a clean sound, and unfortunately the speaker sounded quite honky to me.

A lack of articulation? Indeed!
